Are you the one?

The Director of Marketing leads the marketing department in the development of the product’s competitive differentiation, product positioning, product messaging, and go-to- market strategies for our entrepreneurs, as well as ensuring that all marketing roles is always aligned with these, which ensures that all product teams adhere to a unified market- driven strategic path.


What will you do?

- Provide visibility about the duties and responsibilities of the vacancy, this section doesn’t include objectives, just the actions, duties, and responsibilities.
- Lead the creation of the overall Marketing strategy, in partnership with your direct reports, ensuring that we are driving brand and business growth through effective messaging and efficient media strategies.
- Responsible for allocating, investing, and optimizing media budget across all channels from top-of-funnel to bottom-of-funnel to meet performance and brand building goals across the world (+40 countries).
- Sets the digital marketing strategies and brand positioning in a highly competitive environment building the team needed.
- Focus on defining the marketing product suite, and the go-to-market strategy to build energy and structure around driving significant growth for our entrepeneurs.
- Craft messaging and positioning in the market; competitive and market analysis

- Lead a high-performing team to create and implement strategic marketing initiatives across various marketing functions including Digital: performance marketing and CRM, Brand: Media, social media and PR, and Product marketing.

Job requirements

Required experience & competencies:

Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or any other related field. 

A working experience of the equivalent will also be acceptable for the position 

Experience

At least 5 years of practical experience as a Senior Product Marketing Manager/ Head of Marketing, or as a Marketing Director at a high growth international company.

The experience must be in a large and complex commercial setting performing tasks related to marketing, sales, or any other marketing-related
functions. 

The candidate needs to have a proven and successful track record in direct strategic and tactical product, marketing and brand development
activities.


Skills

- Analytical skills: He or she will need to have a superior ability to implement and monitor marketing programs. They will need to be able to oversee
market research conducted by marketing managers, develop high-value marketing tools, set and monitor key marketing metrics, drive sales and partnership enablement,and identify customer and market needs.
- Communications skills: The role is a highly interactive and collaborative. Will be required to interact and make regular presentations. For this reason, the candidate needs to possess impeccable verbal and written communication skills in order to be able to translate
complex marketing and investment concepts in terms that these diverse audiences can understand and relate to.
- Leadership skills: They must be able to gain the trust of junior and senior personnel. They have to demonstrate confidence in themselves and in others, an ability to inspire others to constantly improve and sharpen their performance and skills, and an ability to keep the team calm and composed during times of uncertainty or immense pressure.
